Our practice is also a qualified training establishment for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), meaning our staff are constantly learning from our specialists.

Nikki Merridue F.C.C.A.
I have owned Matthews Hanton for the last 20 years and became the sole owner in 2016. I specialise in advising small and medium Owner Managed Businesses having over 35 years’ experience in the sector. I enjoy supporting businesses and helping them evolve in the ever-changing environment.

Paul Coe A.T.T.
Paul is our tax manager has been working for Matthews Hanton since 1996. He is very experienced with all the different types of Personal and Trust Tax. He is also very experienced with Payroll processing matters.
Guy Witcher M.A.A.T.
Guy has been working for Matthews Hanton since 2003 and manages our smaller business clients. Guy also has a detailed knowledge of Payroll and Bookkeeping software and systems.
Robert Pearson
Rob is a member of our Accounts Preparation team and has been with Matthews Hanton since 2017. He also supports our clients with bookkeeping software advice and assists with client management.

Rebecca Merridue M.A.A.T.
Rebecca is AAT qualified and has been part of the team since 2018. She has experience in helping a wide range of clients with their Cloud based accounting needs. Rebecca works in our Accounts Preparation, Bookkeeping and Payroll departments.
Stephen Merridue
Stephen joined Matthews Hanton in 2018 and is a member of our Accounts Preparation and Bookkeeping teams. He specialises in the Xero and Sage Cloud software packages. He also has experience supporting businesses who use the Motor Industry VAT Margin Scheme.
Dan White AATQB
Dan is an AAT qualified Bookkeeper, he is a member of our Bookkeeping and Payroll teams. He specialises in assisting clients with bookkeeping being processed via Cloud based software.
Evie Stacey
Evie joined Matthews Hanton to be a member of our Payroll and Bookkeeping teams. She is experienced in helping clients with their payroll needs and knowledge of Xero and Quickbooks bookkeeping software packages. Evie is currently studying towards her AAT qualification.
Paul Adamson
Paul has joined us and comes with a long career working with small businesses supporting them in all aspects of their accounting and taxation requirements.
Kerry Green
Kerry has completed her AAT level 2 studies and plans to start level 3 shortly. She is developing her knowledge with cloud based bookkeeping software.

Joey Watts
Joey is a member of our administration department and assists with general office matters.
Eduarda Melo
Eduarda is our main receptionist at Matthews Hanton. She is the first point of contact for our clients and also assists with our Administration and Company Secretarial teams.
